Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of quantum.usmphysics.org and to registration for the Quantum Horizons symposium (22 December 2026), organised by the School of Physics, Universiti Sains Malaysia.
1. Registration
Registration is free of charge but seats are limited and allocated in order of registration. Each person may register once with one email address. Please give accurate details; your name is printed on your certificate exactly as you enter it. A confirmation email with a reference number is sent once your registration is complete.
2. Changes and cancellation
The programme, speakers, time and venue may change. We will notify registered participants by email. If you can no longer attend, please let us know at events@usmphysics.org so your seat can be offered to others. We may cancel a registration that is duplicated, inaccurate or abusive.
3. Certificates
Certificates of participation are issued to registered participants who attend the symposium. Each certificate carries a reference number that can be checked on this website.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false or another person’s details, not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the website, and not to use automated tools to register.
5. Your data
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Liability
The website and event information are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the organisers are not liable for losses arising from changes to or cancellation of the event, or from temporary unavailability of the website.
7. Governing law and contact
